Eccentric Milling

Eccentric milling is a special technique. It involves a horizontally rotating cutter with the slats rolling across the floor. This means there is no impact on the floor, which does occur with other techniques such as drum milling. The machine is driven by a planetary gear system. This method is particularly effective with thin flexible layers due to the rolling of the solid-heart metal wheels.

The power of eccentric milling

Eccentric milling has some special advantages over other milling techniques. For example, it is very suitable to remove both hard and flexible top layers (such as glue) with minimal damage. In addition, the controllable process gives you more control over your project planning and eccentric milling takes existing surfaces into account.

Applications of eccentric milling

Eccentric milling is suitable for multiple purposes. Think of removing glue layers, coatings, concrete paint and old leveling layers. In short, everything you need to prepare your surface for finishing or to make it look like new again.

Advantages of eccentric milling

Eccentric milling gives you the following benefits:

  • Suitable for both hard and flexible top layers
  • Perfect for precision work
  • Minimum inconvenience during milling
  • Dust-free working method: no cleaning costs and time saving
  • More control in your project planning through the controllable process
  • No vibrations
